Account deletion and data rights

You can request deletion of your Routine JLPT account and related data even if you cannot install or sign in to the app.

Delete your account in the app

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Check and cancel renewal through the store separately.

  1. Open Settings, then Account.
  2. Select the permanent account-deletion option.
  3. Complete any required identity and final confirmation steps.
  4. Wait for confirmation that deletion completed. If it fails, contact support before assuming your account has been removed.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “Routine JLPT account deletion request”. We ask only for information needed to verify the request. Do not send your password or payment-card information.

We reply with the verification steps and processing schedule. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to submit a request.

What is deleted

Deletion removes your live account, authentication identity, synced learning data, registered sync devices and associated RevenueCat customer record. Store subscriptions and transaction records are separate and remain subject to Apple’s or Google’s policies and legal obligations.

Existing database backups may retain copies until they expire under the hosting configuration. They are not used for ordinary service access. Security logs and records required for legal obligations or ongoing disputes may be retained with restricted access. We explain any applicable exceptions in our response.

Local learning data

Account deletion clears the account’s local data on the requesting device. Other devices may retain local copies. Use learning-history reset or remove the app to clear local learning data on those devices. Operating-system backups may retain or restore copies; manage them through your device or backup provider. On iOS, saved sign-in credentials may survive app removal; sign out to remove them.

Privacy choices and other requests

Change analytics and crash-reporting preferences in Settings. Ad privacy options are available where required. Send access, correction, deletion, restriction or consent-withdrawal requests to support.alan.app@gmail.com.
